Acceptable use
What this may and may not be used for. The rules here exist because the technology is easy to misuse against people who cannot object.
Only people who have died
A Soul may only represent someone who has died. Building a simulation of a living person is prohibited without exception — including a former partner, an estranged relative, a public figure, or someone who has cut contact with you.
This is the rule most likely to be broken and the one we treat most seriously.
Only conversations you were part of
Upload only exports from conversations you personally took part in. Do not upload someone else's messages, chats obtained from a shared or inherited device without permission, or conversations forwarded to you by a third party.
Not permitted
- Impersonating the deceased to another person, or presenting generated messages as genuine messages from them.
- Using generated content to influence a legal, financial, medical, or family decision, or to represent the wishes of the deceased in any dispute.
- Harassing, deceiving, or manipulating anyone with content produced here.
- Publishing or distributing generated content in a way that suggests it came from the real person.
- Attempting to extract, reverse-engineer, or scrape the underlying models or another user's data.
Reporting a breach
If you believe an account is being used in breach of this policy — including simulating a living person — contact us at support@telldearsoul.com. We acknowledge within five working days.

Consequences
If we close your account for breaching this policy, we refund the unused part of the period you paid for. We do not keep money for a service we have stopped providing.
